About Us

Crane and Lifting Services Ltd started trading in August 2007 under the management of Stewart Linney, employing 1 engineer. Stewart has working in the crane industry for many years both as an employee for some of the larger crane companies and as a self employed engineer.

As the reputation of the company grew so did the workload and it soon became apparent that an expansion plan was needed. Further engineers were recruited, along with an office manager who deals with all the administration of the company. In August 2010 the company relocated to a larger premises in Barry, which offers fantastic access to the motorway systems, improving our response times as well as providing much needed addtional space to hold all of our stock and equipment.

All the engineers are highly qualified and have been trained by:

• Kone Cranes
• Morris Material Handling
• Demag Cranes

Further training is always on-going to ensure that all of our engineers are fully up to date and compliant with all new regulations and HSE legislation.

The combined experience of Stewart and his engineers extends over 35 years. They can offer a wealth of knowledge on all makes and models of cranes and are always more than happy to discuss a clients needs in full, giving the client the best options for their individual needs and providing the most cost effective solution to your requirements.

Stewart is a firm believer in the personal approach and makes sure that he is constantly in contact with clients and engineers at every stage of a contract. This strategy ensures that all parties are fully aware of progress at all times and that the work will be completed quickly, efficiently and in the most cost effective way possible.
