Overhead Travelling Cranes

Many different makes and models are available all offering distinct advantages dependent upon client requirements.

The single girder underslung crane is probably the most popular.

Double girder cranes and underslung cranes are other options to consider dependant upon requirements.

End carriages and hoists which are electrically motor driven provide accuracy when lifting and positioning heavy objects and can be used in factories, machine shops, warehouses etc.

Safety devices such as limit switches, warning lights and horns together with anti collision devices are all essential to provide high levels of safety to all employees.

Heavy duty Goliath and Semi Goliath cranes which are rail mounted floor travelling units and are designed to cope with lifting large loads over long distances.

Jib Cranes

125KG – 10 TONNE

Many different types of Jib Cranes are available.

They can be wall or floor mounted and they can provide slew angles of 180 to 360 degrees. A fully powered type will give smooth jib rotation, lift, and hoist travel.

If access at your premises is awkward we can specify a knuckle jib with provision for an elbow in the jib arm to provide the greatest manoeuvrability.
